As a child I was obsessed with a certain Blue Puppet, and not only because of our shared love for a certain delicious dessert, but because I sat morning after morning enjoying his role in Sesame Street. This show was a huge part of my childhood, as I am sure it was many. This was a great time in TV, before the over zealous fanatics decided that it wasn’t appropriate for a character to eat only cookies, or that actually playing along the side of a street sent the wrong message. The fact was it made kids pay attention; I’ll be it possibly unknowingly, to the numbers letters and morals that seem to be quickly forgotten.
